Allyson Gracie began her Pilates & Yoga practice in the mid-‘90’s while working in Corporate America, primarily to reduce stress. After nearly 20 years of ‘desk jobs’ in the fields of Fashion, Advertising and Finance, the Universe lead her to becoming an instructor and teaching fitness/stress reduction full time. She is now certified though IM=X, a Pilates-fusion, and Balanced Body Pilates (a contemporary training with the traditional foundation) and is now part of the Balanced Body University faculty. Allyson is RYT200 through YogaFit, a contemporary Vinyasa yoga certification.
She has her BFA from Pratt Institute and now creatively works with individuals to transform their lives and their bodies through the Breath, concentration, and a balance of stillness and activity.
Allyson’s clients and students range from “normal, healthy 20-somethings” to “pre/post-natal” right up to yoga clients in their ‘70’s who want to continue to enjoy being in their bodies as long as they can and everyone in-between.
